Visit of students from University of Twente
On May 4th we were happy to welcome a group of students of the Philosophy of Science, Technology and Society (PSTS) program from the University of Twente at aspern.mobil LAB. The group visits our lab as well as other institutions and start-ups as part of a study trip to Vienna. In the afternoon of May 4th, we introduce the Seestadt Aspern as an urban development area and the working practices of the aspern.mobil LAB as a living Lab. Therefore we will do a sightseeing walk through the Seestadt Aspern where our guests also meet Students from the course “Design Thinking” at TU Wien, who are conducting a fieldwork day by this time in Seestadt Aspern. In this spirit, we are looking forward to a nice joint afternoon with some fruitful exchange.
We started our tour at the ice cream salon and were then touring through the Seestadt Aspern and visiting the presentation spots of TU Wien students. Despite a threatening thunderstorm very interesting exchange about the development of the student projects, the characteristics of the Seestadt Aspern as well as the role of our living lab and its activities, which are mostly integrated into the public life of the Seestadt Aspern, emerged.
